Possible to turn 3G stick into a wifi router??
Discussion
I have a Vodafone USB 3g stick for use when travelling around....very easy and pretty good, costs £10 per month. About to take delivery of a wifi only iPad. Is there a way to take out the sim card from the 3G stick and put it in a device that will broadcast the signal as a wifi signal that the iPad can pick up on, therefore giving it internet access through via the 3G stick?
I imagine the technology exists, but wouldn't know what to search for on the web, or which might be the good ones etc.
Any thoughts?

What I want though is a small battery powered pocket device that I can insert my 3G sim card into and hey presto it becomes a wireless router....for when out and about and there is no other wifi signal to use. In the house, I use the home wifi signal from the broadband connection.
The Vodafone thing looks perfect, but I only want the unit, not a contract that goes with it as I already have the contract.
