Hey guys,
I've been registered on here for a while but have never really posted up much.
So I thought I'd share a few pics of my 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG.
Cheers guys, hope you like.
That is a stunning looking car and garage you have there, what the spec on it and has it got any mods - I havent seen that carbon diffuser bit on a CLK beforeI've been registered on here for a while but have never really posted up much.

Hey buddy. Thanks for your kind words.
They are much appreciated.
I really am very proud to own one of these rare AMG's as there were only a few hundred of the last CLK's that were blessed with the M156 engine before production of the CLK ceased.
Although there are a few of them around in the UK, I am yet to see another one on the road.
Mercedes/ AMG has the standard output of the CLK63 coupe at 481hp & 630nm of torque.
I have added a new CLK Black Series steering wheel, 19" Mandrus rims, K&N filters and the carbon fibre rear apron/ diffuser that you see in the pictures. I also had the silencer removed from the exhaust and replaced with a straight pipe, in order to make it sound alittle more beefer. It pops and booms when I lay off the gas pedal which sounds awesome. I am very pleased with that particular mod!
I had to source the diffuser from a supplier in California as it was the only place I could get one.
AMG sales are high in the US, particularly in California, so there are quite a few companies out there who make bits and pieces for AMG models.
It is genuine carbon fibre (unlike some far east copies that are fibre glass with carbon overlay) and is about 1mm thick. Very light too, as you can imagine.
It is not a functioning diffuser, but more a cosmetic enhancement.
Interestingly, the rear diffuser on the CLK Black Series is not a functioning diffuser either, so I was happy to add this component to my car.
It wasn't cheap I'm afraid, but I HAD to have it! lol
I was between minds as to whether to get it as I could not see the product before buying it.
But after a few lengthy conversations with the supplier and a couple of guys in the US that have bought one for their AMG CLK's, I was happy that it was a good product.
The supplier confirmed to me that it is the first/ only diffuser that they have sold to the UK.
This pleases me as it helps my car to stand out from other CLK63's that are rolling around these parts.
I am abit of a detailing freak (with some rather unorthodox methods of cleaning) and I like to keep it looking flawless.
I have applied some 60 odd layers of wax in the 2 years that I have owned it. OCD???.... lol!
I may add a Black Series carbon fibre boot lid spoiler to compliment the diffuser but I am still between minds about it.
I am also considering some coilovers to stiffen the ride alittle but, again, I am undecided. Some of my friends have advised leaving it as it is.
I actually know someone with a Black Series who had one of these before and he said that he prefered the ride of my car and that the Black Series is alittle too hard. But I kinda like a hard ride, so I'm not sure what to do yet.
