ML350 - Anyone got one ?

I`m searching for a winter runabout / family truck and am gravitating towards a 2003-4 ML350 . I understand they`re a step ahead of the previous 320 in terms of efficiency and quality , and I`m not particularly keen on the diesel option .
If anyone has any hands on experience running one , I`d be glad to hear your opinions .
