As mentioned above, cars now come with 5 years warranty, 3 years free servicing and 5 years breakdown cover.

18,000 miles in now, 2nd service booked for next week.

Only faults so far are a failed heater fan and sticky comfort access door buttons.

Loving this car more and more!

A drive 2 hours each way to Norfolk yesterday for work, half of it in the pissing rain and chilling out.

The second half involved quite a lot of backroads - It's such a drivers car this one!

I fancy one of these but for better or worse my March 20117 BMW 540 has done 16,500 miles and still not required a service. No faults to date.

The Germans are still better at some things.

Compare it with an 'M' model though....you won't get 16,500 miles between services.

....and the QV now has 5yrs free servicing.

Our F80 M3 only needed a running in service and one major service in 34k miles and 3 years.

I'd still take the QV over the M now any day - hope to be in one this time next year at the latest.

No, it's definitely 5 years on all Alfas (bar MiTo) now. That's 5 years warranty and servicing.

Used to be 3 years on some (not many) offers, my March 17 car has it.

Now it's 5 years.

Anyway, you can all poke your long service intervals!

I don't care a fig when the car is this good!

And if anything it gives me peace of mind, especially as I do quite a few short journeys.

Sorry; I got that wrong.

It's the warranty that has gone to 5 years.

5 years Warranty
3 Years Servicing
5 Years Roadside Assistance

And how many minor services?

...and you won't regret it!
