I will have done around 17k miles & it's due for a service mid July - according to the schedule I don't think it needs to be serviced before I hand it back but are FCA likely to see it this way?
Anyone have any experience with FCA?
Cheers

Had a chat with Leasys, the guy mentioned that if I wanted to avoid the 2nd service all I had to do was had back a few days early smile..........mine gets collected next Friday frown

Yeah I did that as well.

For info, the best quote I found for the 2nd service was £560

Sorry so are you saying that despite delaying the first service they still made you pay for a second service even though technically it wasn’t due?

Nah - The leasys guy was quite upfront, if it the service is not due, you don't need to do it.

I pulled the collection date forward by a few days just to make sure. The replacement Golf R has been sitting at the dealer since the beginning of June - collection / drop off is next Friday.
Will be sad to see the 4C go. weeping

In todays leasing market there is absolutely nothing out there similar for the same money.
Carbon fibre Italian sports car for £323/month yes

I know those prices per month were crazy! Do you mind me asking if the Golf R deal is decent?

Mines gone back now, collection and inspection all very easy. I was half expecting them to claim front tyres needed replacing due to slightly uneven wear, but everything was fine. In my opinion fair wear and tear rules are more than fair, but after 19k miles my car was still close to mint. Like others I delayed first service allowing we to skip the second and that was not a problem.

I’m going to miss it! Thank you Alfa!

Will be interesting to see at what price these cars hit the used market.

They all seem to be sub 40k and ranging from 37 to 40, as more come available I expect prices to soften to mid 30s .... a 665 miler just changed hands at c37k.

From a used perspective, i found that v few dealers are willing to buy these cars outright. The few dealers that are willing to, will add significant margin to cushion against being stuck with the cars for a while. Despite being an Alfa product, I couldn’t find any local Alfa dealers who were willing to put a price on it, perhaps because they have a different clientele and product mix, and the 4C doesn’t really suit. So then the cars are primarily handled by independent dealers.

Such a shame as they are wonderful machines.

Yes which is why I think it would be interesting to see where the ones being leased and handed back now on this thread end up and for how much. My question wasn’t just about general value

Agree with all that is said there and as a potential buyer am also interested in the tactic to avoid the 2nd service that some lessees are using (no criticism, if you can avoid the cost why not) and how upfront the dealers will be about that ...

There are only 6 in the AR stock list used and the prices are so inconsistent from 57k for a 2015 car with 7k miles to 36k with for a 2016 car with 17k on ... and bang in the middle a 2014 Launch Edition car with less than 200 miles .... no wonder they don't want anymore ....

Veloces have a 2016 car with 11k on for 38k .....

They are with some odd outfits like TH Boler and Marshalls, i do wonder how many are SOR, and then you have the odd prive seller trying to get retail money ......

I have no idea, but they seem to offer a decent range of premium stock but aren't a marque specialist for any, I do wonder how many of those 150 cars are SOR though ....

Looks like a bunch of 50th Anniversary cars including mine will be up for auction tomorrow- Manheim Bruntingthorpe auction. Not sure how you see sale price though.

Nice to see mine described as Grade 1 condition after 19k miles!

https://www.manheim.co.uk/our-centres/bruntingthor...

There are 9 4C’s on their site pending auction!

They give you full condition reports and a lot more info than if you bought from a dealer!!
