Enough now of the charming coquettishness, Nervy. How's the 'Grale?

Yep, how is it? How does it compare to your last one?

it doesn't compare with the last car. but then its not fair to do so. the last car was an 80 grand track weapon that had had 40k lavished on it. compared with that, its rubbish.

however, compared with most other things, its ace. its fast, looks ace, makes an ace noise and handles like nothing Ive ever driven. Ive even started to really enjoy the whole lhd thing, it somehow makes driving more involving, cos i cant afford to switch off, even for a moment. sort of focuses my wet cake of a brain. i may even mow down fractionally less bus queues this year.

plus mines an absolute minter, which is a nice feeling, Ive even been washing it cos i feel guilty about how nice it is and how nice I'm not. anybody that knows me knows that must mean its a good un, cos i loathe washing cars. its really, totally immaculate. thats ace.

all in all i reckon in terms of pound for pound value, when you factor in performance, individuality and coolness i reckon you'd be hard pressed to beat it. and that evo rating has done nothing to harm my credibility.

that said, truth be told, i have been toying with selling it as i bought straight away after selling the '3 and i felt i would desperately need a car, but i really haven't, and it seems silly and a shame to have something that ace looking at me everyday as i drive away in my shitty old land rover, and it certainly makes no sense having the money tied up in a car when i could be using it elsewhere. i want to spend some more time with yet cos I'm still not fully keyed in and don't know whether I'm totally smitten with it or not. i guess well see when things have settled a bit and i get a chance to put some more time into driving it. or maybe i should stop myself falling in love now and just sell on before i decide i do need a car definitely, which was perhaps what i was gonna suggest to cooky.

god, i dunno. being self employed has left me much less time and head space than id thought

sure, but I meant your last integrale.

FWIW, I'd hang onto it unless you really need the cash elsewhere - there's been times that I've wondered whether mine was the best use I could make of the money, but if business is keeping me busy then it's good to go out for a run and let off steam, and if business is slow then it's good to go out for a run and forget about it.

ah, right. sorry. well in fairness, i didnt have the first evo long cos i realised id bought a dog and got rid before it ruined me, then i had an hf that went pop so that isnt a good test either, and the chipped up gtie which was utterly ace but probly not worthy of comparrison.

you may be right bout keeping the car, i dunno yet im just worrying about money and incoming, you know how it is. thanks for your thoughts tho chum

do you know, i wrote that and then deleted it three times in case you saw it, but i thought 'a it, the old will never see me in here'. bollox.

for the record, its still the wrong side, its just that im naturally wrong enough to be able to adapt to it. i honestly would hate to pilot anything as fast as your '3 from that side, it would all go too wrong too quick. luckily of course, you drive like a cluster of pooves.
