Reviews say the tramlining only becomes an issue at speeds around 100mph. Less than that it's very stable.
I have driven one on Cotswold A & B roads for a day, the reviews that said that are wrong, at 70mph it can be scary, especially the bump steerAt these lease prices I would probably put up with the odd change of underpants. They are fun cars

Handling isn't awful as std , but can have the odd scary o fk moment, I managed 10k before having the alfaworkshop 450 squid adjustment and it makes it a more compliant car without loosing the excitement. It really is a great car, grab the offer, just keep 450 in your back pocket if you want less excitement. As a daily biggest problem is it's wide, very wide and parking in std spaces can make it hard to get out off, thankfully the remote to open the car if held down opens the window and makes it easier to get into.
The 4c is a very special car , these are bonkers cheap but it's a marmite car, you will love it or hate it.

I've had my 4C since last May and it's strictly a weekend toy for me. I'd be utterly fed up in a couple of weeks if I tried to use it as a daily, so I salute anyone that takes this on! I think many see it as a Cayman/Boxster/TTS alternative and it's so very much not that...
I felt it was moe Elise/exige category wantacar said:

I've got mine coming to have as a commuter, luckily the works carpark has usa spec parking spaces so no problems opening the door fully! Will be avoiding multi story carparks and supermarkets in future though!

I felt it was moe Elise/exige category Had my test drive today. For someone who's hunting their dream mid-life crisis car with a strict criteria of manual gearbox and NA, I decided to give the 4C a chance, owing to the stonking physical appearance and the reviews, along with the incredible lease deal being on offer on this thread.
So what did I think of it?
Appearance - it's a beautiful car, very beautiful!!! The mid to rear is just ferrari-esque....I loved it. Needs the front light upgrade IMO.
Interior - sparse but that didn't bother me, the seats were a tad uncomfortable. I personally found it not spacious enough with the footwell and for my legs. Didn't listen to the stereo. In all honesty, apart from the footwell and the leg space I wasn't bothered about the plastics.
Driving Exp - well I think I am 10 years too old for this car, I found it initially massively exciting but then towards the end I was tired of it already, it's a car that I could not do a commute in. It does not drive well at slow speeds, it needs to be spanked. The noise and the drone from the sports exhaust gave me a headache. Again, initially I thought the noise was alright but by the end it bored me. It did hunt a little with the steering, but nothing that was along the scale of journalists stating that the steering wheel being pulled out of your hands, IMO an exaggeration.
For me, I think I am going to pass on it, maybe if I had a long ownership I could love it, but then again I may hate it. It's not a financial gamble I am willing to take.
I asked the dealer if they could match the lease, and they said they couldn't, indeed they said it's a common tactic to present a great deal but never deliver on it?? As in, lure you in, get your deposits and then present you with a higer figure on finance when you've signed on the dotted line...?? That end statement pretty much ended my 4C consideration.

Interesting to hear your thoughts. I sat in one yesterday and thought the same regarding the seats not being overly comfortable. Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to drive it so will just have to wait until it (hopefully) arrives. I think Unity would have a lot of disgruntled customers on their hands if they failed to deliver.
Regarding the headlights, I'm actually leaning towards staying with the std LED's with CF surround, which i think is a no cost option? I think the darker light unit looks better than the xenons which is sleeker and more reflective which gives the car a different look. I haven't seen the std LED in real life mind but understand it's been quite controversial.
