Has anyone got any recommendations re breakdown insurance apart from the obvious of not having to use it!!
Best/Cheapest deals?
I've got a 92 Griff which falls outside the 'younger eurobox std' cover offered by the rac aa etc.

Annual euro breakdown is free with britannia Rescue.

I got 2 people and 3 cars covered for a year at the highest level including europe for £130.

Not sure what the classic policy is but gotta be worth a try with those prices.

Mention me too and get a discount (possibly).
(if you want my name, email me, they might not know who "DustyC" is!).

I joined the ACO (organisers of Le Mans) as this entitles me to free breakdown assistance in France, discounted entry tickets for up to 6 people at Le Mans and also free use of their clubhouse. All this for about €80 per year.

If you read the not-so-small print, you only get the one time use of their services, and it read like they only called the breakdown truck for you, no other relay or repair services are included...

Eurotunnel do annual AA insurance for about 70 - covers you for any vehicle.
