Well what a trip 1,000 miles in two days loads of new Vet friends.
I was Viper no mates but they took me to thier bossom thanks guys had a great weekend and enjoyed the high speeds through germany.
Thanks again and over 600 ftlbs certainly makes a Callaway (hope I spelt it right) move.
Great to meet you all, hope to see some of you next week at Steve's ranch.
Special thanks to Nigel and hope you got home OK

Car got a tad warm during qualifying on Saturday morning so had to abort both sessions after about 3 laps.
Then did the parade laps with Jan later on and broke the steering
Got home okay as having owned a mid 70's vette I was used to wandering steering
Thanks to Paul and Barabara for putting up with the Snake baiting and I really hope that there will be some more Viper drivers next year and hopefully a couple of you will brave the track!

...And thanks too for planning the route home. Such a shame the weather destroyed our outbound plans. Would be nice to see a more even balance of vettes/vipers next year.

You hit the nail on the head there, Richard "Pimp my ride" Rogers!!!
Talking about Pimping my Ride I found out this week that if you want spinners you don't have to buy the entire wheel. Instead you can get plastic spinning hub caps. I have acquired a set which will be on display at Cadnam on Sunday. Brett, bring your digital video camera and we can post them spinning. There are two problems however:-
1. They are a bit smaller than my wheels but at least you can still see some of my polished alloys.
2. They rattle a bit when spinning after a high speed run but attract a lot of people's attention with the noise.
I'm not sure but I think they may have buggered up my tyre pressure sensors

OK That Malc he's a horney devil, only bloke I know that can find a beach party in Hockenheim 400 miles from the sea!!!

I was crying because I DIDN'T find the party, but Jason, Dan, Mark + Louise did
we wos there too you know!
The "party" was no great shakes...a bunch of German munters in a paddling pool just doesn't do it for me. The beer drinking and "spoof" games were good fun especially watching Dan drink a Baileys and lime juice!
The walk home along the edge of the motorway was interesting and trying to nick the Ferrari flag from the garage next door to the bar was fun except I have since discovered I have strained a ligament in my ankle! (Must have been whilst climbing the fence when pi**ed)
