Someone asked me yesterday (thikn is was Mark) about shifter knobs. Well this company do them in black or white and they are heat resistant unlike the billet aluminium ones which gove you frostbite in winter and third degree burns in summer.

I did wonder what this tread was going to be about. Flashing blue gear knob added to 'things I must get list'

Great idea - thanks Nige! I think I'll buy one for the gear knob and another for the pully-outy-thingy headlight switch my early C4 has!

Wait til the Nova/Corsa brigade see this - they'll be well jealous!

Now - has anyone got any Max Power seatbelt pads...

Hey, I happen to think my Silver/Black "Corvette Attitude" pads are very tasteful. However they will be up for sale soon if I can find some more tasteful Yellow ones.

There are others who sell the same thing with the HURST logo on for $50 like www.corvettegarage.com.

I fancy a white one myself. Sadly, there are companies who do blue neon knobs and worse still, a "Flaming Ball" with illuminated flames. Yuk.

Er, I had a weird moment tonight - I was driving down the M11 in a transit (don't ask...) with my lodger and told him of the flashing blue gearknob thing - it was then we realised I'd actually bought him said flashing knob last Christmas.

He only found out it flashed when he removed it from the last car he sold.

Oops, sorry!

Anyone know the best way to fix Neons to the bottom of a Corvette?

I'll let you know when mine arrive complete with fitting instructions:

Note that I opted for the "GT RACING" version but not quite sure what "4 PEACE" means - perhaps the seller is some sort of anti-war campaigner.

Those would be just what I've been looking for. If only they were red and not blue. Oh well I have another idea I want to give a try anyway.

I am also thinking of fitting under plenum lighting as well.
