(its a poor website though)

its hardly a viper show, around 5 cars competing, about half a dozen highly modifed cars which are faster than the viper will be there, a lot from the corvette forum are competing to. Most are from down south travelling up and stopping over night getting legless in a seedy hotel

it is the 1st August

This car (although not a Viper) will be there and will be well worth seeing I think...

Are there any UK Vipers that would be able to put a fight against this car? I know there are here in California but what is the state-of-the-art of Viper tuning in the UK at the moment?

Keiths car was awesome last year at Elvington, I dont think many vipers will touching 150 at the quarter and nearly 200mph at the end of the strip. Guess the nearest non-skyline rival will be that pesky 202mph Supra, but thats unfortunately in the rear wheel drive class

That 202mph Supra was on the dyno up at Geoff's this week, it sounded like an F-15 on the deck of a carrier! The turbo is somewhat large by all accounts!
Also has a 300HP NOS shot as well just to add to the excitement.

Can't wait to see it run next week.....also want to see Keith's car run again and lets hope he doesn't "coast" across the 1.25 mile line this time!

Closest Viper I could think of would be venom500's car but still has less engine power and he isn't taking part. N GTS and Steve K's car (remember reading about the latter on the VCA) are more all rounders.
