I wasn't going to mention this but there are a few rumours going around and, believe it or not, many of you guys on this forum are amongst my closest friends (I don't have many) so I hope no-one minds me posting a personal topic.

I went for an angiogram two weeks ago to check all is well with the Ticker following my problems last year. Gutted to find out I need a triple by-pass and I'm going to London tommorrow for the operation on Thursday.

So you will have to do without my input for a few days but I'm told by the Docs that I will be even fitter on my return, so watch out.

Can't drive the Vette for a while so would any volunteers please form an orderly queue outside my garage.

Hey Richard, hope all goes well over the next few days. When you get back, I will happily offer my services as unpaid chauffeur (in your Vette not mine) unil you can take the wheel again. Best wishes for a speedy recovery mate.

I'm sure all will go well, it's a pretty routine op now. My father in law had a triple bypass about 15 years ago and his ticker is fine.

We'll be thinking of you, all the best and here's to a swift recovery.

BTW where do we pick up the keys to the Vette?

Hi Richard your comments will be missed.
All the best
Is there an address for the hospital and a ward number we can send a card to?
Looking forward to seeing you all the fitter after the op and taking the cars on some more nice runs into those strange foreign countries again.
