paid £20,000 but the vendor had already sold it last month for £22,000 but the buyer couldn't raise the money,so for a quick sale i got it for £20000.

Excellent choice! - '99 was a good year for the Vette! Like you I had previously had an Esprit and there's a big difference in character between the two cars as well as the switch to LHD for the Vette. Similarities too, as both come with striking looks, excellent performance and considerable width. As to which is the better car it's impossible to say as I think it all depends what you're looking for. There's more than one way to skin a cat! Enjoy.

Like you, I had a list which included the Esprit and Cerbera but in the end, you can't beat simplicity and sheer power. Great car, stunning looks, cheap servicing. It's like cheating - a supercar without any of the pain.
