I think i've seen somebody with this plate on the forum?
Anyway, I saw you on the side of the A1 heading north bound a couple of weeks ago. It looked like you were being talked to by the plod..
Hope it turned out ok.
(ps I was going past in a black and noisy C5 - I imagine you had more to worry about than Vette spotting at the time though...)

Sounds as though there's been a lot of Vette pulls recently for one thing or another. Hope all's well with c4koh. In the last month I have seen BiB at the side of 70 mph roads with mobile lasers guns on 3 separate occasions so they seem to be getting enthusiastic. The situation isn't helped by the fact that round our way most of the local speed limits were reduced from 50 mph to 40 mph during the summer. Drive carefully.
Sorry guys - out for a while due to laptop being re-installed!!
Chris: yes, that was me you saw - Sunday night a few weeks ago
94mph and an SP50 / £60 fine, putting me up to 6 points (an SP50 for 98mph at more or less the same spot last year, I should have learned!...)
The Valentine 1 being next to useless for laser traps, which is what Plod had.
Nevertheless, had a good talk with him about the motor, he wondered if his V70 T5 would give it a run for its money (I said no chance), and onwards home...
Gave me the usual advice about creeping off the hard-shoulder slowly (for safety), duly followed by a quick 0 - 70 (on the dot ) to get my system back "to normal".
Glad to say that episode tought me a lesson, haven't been over 70 (or of course 94mph ) since...
