Having left Poole at some unearthly hour to get to Clacketts Lane for 8.30, I was confronted by a sign on the M3 close to Winchester advising me that the M3/M25 junction was closed!
With no maps to give me any idea of how I could cut across country and in a pissy mood I aborted. Hope you guys had a great day and the Vette did well

Next time exit at junction 4 of the M3 and turn right onto the A331 towards Farnham. When you reach the roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway turn left onto the A31 towards Guildford. Follow the signs towards London and merge onto the A3. Leave the A3 when you see the signs for the M25.

I did the reverse of this on my way back from Brands as its a lot less boring than the plod around the M25.

If you go straight over the M25 instead, turn right at the next junction, ahead at the mini roundabout and left at the next roundabout you'll find the Fairmile pub about 2 miles on your left - Surrey's meeting point on the 4th Tuesday of the month !
