Plastic Trim

I recently saw a video online advertising a product which refurbishes the bits of plastic trim (for example between the windscreen and the bonnet under the windscreen wipers). Mine is looking particularly faded and the vid demonstrated a product that seemed to do a great job with a single application.
Unfortunately I cant remember where I saw the vid or the product in question!
Anyone got any ideas or recommendation for a product to do this.

did i see someone promoting peanut butter to do the job you describe. . .or have i had too many cans of 'K' again

Peanut butter has been mentioned.

If you can remove the trim give it a good clean with something like Megs Super Degreaser. Then warm it up with a hairdryer. This brings the oils back to the surface. Then treat with a good trim protectant.

If you can be bothered with all that messing, I have recently tried Nanolex Trim Rejuvenator and it's pretty damn good.

i have tended to use the same wax as i use for the paintwork. . .its not crazy money at £30 a pot, and it seems to make the plastic 'black' and even, as well as repell the water, but i am tempted to try peanut butter next time !!! what ever next, will Lemon Curd turn out to be the best ever alloy wheel cleaner the world has ever known

the peanut butter thing works because peanuts have a lot of oil in them . just put some oil on the trim
