My autodata wiring diagrams are not showing one, just fuse f5 feeding it via a relay and the multifunction module.

Hi ch427 Thank you for the reply post I have tested and replaced f5 Fuel pump fuse that's not the problem.
Let me explain what has happened. The rear silencer was blowing for the last 2 weeks and i have not had time to fit a new one. Today the engine management light came on with the warning of an anti pollution fault. So I decided its time to fit the new exhaust, I got 2 wheel ramps and kicked them tightly up to the wheels. Then went to start the car to drive up the ramps and it would not start Hence i thought there might be an fuel cut off/impact switch fitted somewhere.
Reg Number KU55BGZ 1.6 petrol Citroen C4
Do You have any ideas?
Can anyone HELP!

Oh dear, it sounds like it could be a multitude of things, and none of them good. Unfortunately, I think the first thing to do is to read the codes and go from there.
Just as a thought, can you hear the fuel pump run when you switch the ignition on / open the door. If the fuel pump is running, it's not the engine relay / fuel shut off system.

Depending how handy you are, you could try checking for sparks etc. (I'm assuming the engine is turning over?)

Hi The fuel pump does not run.engine turns over but won't start.
I used to have a peugoet 307 and when the rear silencer went on that one and the anti pollution fault warning came on and would not start it ended up being the crank sensor. It might just be a coincidence if there is no fuel cut off impact sensor/

Crank sensors are very common failures but I would suspect some sort of immobiliser issue if it happened all of a sudden.
Got a spare key to try?

i cant really help any further, may be worth trying a crank sensor first but a diagnosis may be needed.

The crank position sensor on Mrs paintman's 2003 307 1.6 failed with no provocation. She drove onto the drive in the evening all fine & when she went to start in the morning it just churned over & over. Plugs bone dry. Towed it to the local Peugeot specialist - just round the corner - & the diagnostic said CPS.
I have a feeling - & a quick look on ebay suggests I might be right - that cps are the same on the Pug & the Citroen.
