Use another browser,
+1The only real gripe I have with 8.1 is that too many sites take a while to load and that my e bay (which is important) displays oddly when I go to edit the listings. So much so that I open e bay in Firefox now.
I have vtried unticking and ticking the compatability view boxes.
I also cannot access my online banking via the new ie (I was able to in the windows 8 version) By that I mean I can log in then input my passcode but cannot proceed to next page. Its ok on other banking sites though so I assume like the e bay thing its early days
If anyone has any relevant ideas I would be grateful
Your problem may be that IE11 defaults to display in secure mode on installation of Windows 8.1 - I had the same issue with scripts being blocked, cookies being ignored and every other thing rendering wrongly. You need to go to Tools/Internet Options/Security Tab and disable "Enable Protected Mode" and then restart IE... I haven't had any problems since.
Hi, I too have recently upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 and am now getting constant errors on script messages within IE11/Google, which progressively get worse and worse until a total reboot is necessary to get out of it!
Is there any remedy for this issue please?
