Yep, hope it's not bad. This is the French report auto translated, for what it's worth with so little info. http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=fr&tl...

Sounds serious. He may have been a cock on track but he was a very friendly man when I met him. Always been good to fans.
Hope he's ok

Just reported on Sky news that he has a 'serious' head injury and his condition is 'unknown' at the moment.

Let's hope he makes a full recovery. frown

Hope he isn't too badly injured, and gets better very quickly.

Sensibly he was wearing a helmet so its likely he should be ok.

Wonder how many skiiers don't wear helmets who end up having a nasty accident.

I wouldn't put all my faith in the BBC though, I must admit.

BT Sport said:
Gernignon Christophe Lecomte, director of the Méribel resort was quoted by Radio Monte Carlo Sport as saying the former racing driver hit his head against a rock in the accident which happened at 11.07am local time. Schumacher had been wearing a helmet.

Lecomte said on rmcsport.bfmtv.com: "Help responded quickly, at 1115. He was airlifted and taken to hospital in Moutiers. He was shocked, a little shaken but conscious.

"It may be a head injury but it is not very serious."
Lecomte is the only source of that information, so when the director of a holiday resort states something always assume it might be to protect his business.

I'd wait for official news.
