Anyone see any classification or seatmap for the different A-D ticket categories? As I understand it, they're not formalising the exact ticket seats until 2015, but surely there must be some idea of where in the stadium an A class versus B class seat is likely to be?

Australia is where the value is out of that lot, I'd say...

England v Wales
Wales v Australia
Samoa v USA in Brighton (cos it's cheap and local)
and maybe one of the knockout games.

Applied for:

Ireland v Romania - Wembley

Ireland v Italy - Olympic

QF2 W Pool C v RU Pool D - Cardiff

QF3: W Pool D v RU Pool C - Cardiff

Final - Twickers

We've reserved the Ibis in Bristol for the QF weekend in Cardiff as rooms are still 60 quid a night! We couldnt find a room in Cardiff and other hotels in both Bath and Bristol are cottoning on and starting to charge £300 a night. Fingers crossed some of the allocation above comes through!

I'm applying for 3x Ireland v France for me, the OH and her father. It'd make his retirement to go. Fingers crossed...

Don't envy you queueing for the trains out of Cardiff after QF2 (8pm KO).

It cant be any worse than Twickenham back to Victoria! If they crowd control us and run additional services or bigger trains it should be OK. The drink may help too.

Application process now closed and results to be communicated in October.

One big bill if my application is successful for every match I've gone for!

unless you're the luckiest person in the world you've got nothing to worry about wink

I've applied for Japan/Samoa for the old man and I - so fingers crossed for that. Figured that price-wise it worked and it could actually be a very entertaining match

Well I hope I am NOT the luckiest person in the world as I forgot to put a limit....

And I agree, these prices are a disgrace. RWC 2007, full Eng packages through to semis were around £1k all in from memory and I remember the 7 weekends in France quite well - well sort of smile. (Yes, 7 means the Final as well.....)

The prices are ridiculous. For Japan v USA at Kingsholme - there is no one view in that place worth £70 where the terrace is worth £15. Utter nonsense

Does anyone have an inside track as to when the ticket allocations are being released? "October" is a rather woolly and I am getting a bit restless here...
