BA11 LEY on the Ferrari, P1 MR B on the McLaren and POR 918S on the Porsche. Do DVLA now sell plates from scrapped vehicles then? POR 918S was on a motorbike which was ceremoniously written off in a crash years ago.

I know it is the Daily Mail so there is no point getting too wound up about it, but he is the second person in the wold to have the three, at best. A chap in Holland completed his trio last August.

Ah, but is he happy?

And as long as the bike had a current MoT then the plate could be transferred or retained regardless.

The bike was written off and scrapped. That's why I wondered if DVLA were now selling off plates from scrapped vehicles. 4321 GO. Great plate BTW!

They weren't even number plated at all at the front, thats worse !

He does seem like an all round good guy but it does piss me off when people do that. If someone in a Ford Focus posted here he'd done that he'd be pretty much abused by everyone, and quite rightly. It seems weird that if your car is worth £100k+ its generally accepted.

Two others have pointed out elsewhere that there was a guy is Saudi that completed his set in October at latest and there is potentially someone in China with the set too, completed in December.

The Daily Mail really is a load of old plop isn't it.

For a start, I've been to Paul's house and had a look around his 11,000 sq ft underground leisure complex with 30 car underground garage.....I'm no surveyor but I'm guessing a damn site more than a million quids worth.

I think they just make stuff up half the time.

rofl

If he does live in Rutland, then I suspect it will be on Hambleton, in which case the land is probably worth 3/4 times that!

ETA: Does anybody know if he has ever had an F50?

If you've been to his place and know the address, check the previous sold price on Rightmove/Zoopla? smile
