So plates came in. DMV opened at 9. Got there at 8:30AM and was number 83 in line. Took 2 hours to get in the door. Walked away with my new plates at 1:15PM.

Anyway thought we might start a thread of personal plates?

A little humble pie - sitting in waiting room the other day and the secretaries see the car outside the window. After some discussion they decide it's a Ford Tbird because of the wings on the hood. They ask if it's mine and I say "Yes, it's an Aston Martin" They reply "Oh, who makes that?"

George is the boy on this forum to ask about personalised number plate, but I'd guess he will lurve your one.
I have a similar plate on my car 2 FINGUP.
General consensus is whatever floats your boat.

I have personalised number plates on both my vehicles for 2 reasons:
1. It disguises the age of the vehicle.
2. It, near as damn it, spells my name - which I think is pretty cool!
...and I don't give a T*SS what anyone else thinks about personalised plates LOL!
Each to their own - enjoy smile

K155 MA S

This was on the AMOC site a couple of years ago advertised at £1250 with Carreguk, but I do not know if anyone bought it for an Aston Vanquish S or Rapide S
It seems to have been sold, perhaps for a Mini Cooper S or Boxster S?

It was lost on me as well, but like a crossword clue, by Jove, I think I have got it.

Is Au the chemical periodic table symbol for gold?

So Gold Eye.

George would probably say that is not very precise, but if you happen to think of the letters EN,
then you get the film title Golden Eye (Aston Martin DB5).

Had an 1100 Suzuki Katana bike years back and had MC KAT on the plates. No one got it.

What's the benefit of that?

First thing Id do before putting any numberplate on is take off those awful black bumper things that the numberplate sits in. Talk about small details ruining the look of a car!

Except my gorgeous partner ( a.k.a. wife) is 22 years younger than me. She just turned 28. No botox necessary. smile

Having enjoyed visits to Jamaica and Fleming's home, my intent was to commemorate "Goldeneye." 'Seemed marvelously appropriate for an Aston. I was restricted to 5 letters and don't mind folks having to think about the meaning for a bit.
