Anyone know T400CER
Discussion
I go to these. They now encompass the old Raceproved TVR/Lotus specialist, which I believe was well respected. Up to now, I've been really impressed by both their knowledge of TVRs and quality of customer service. I've also seen the car you mention at a car club meet. I believe it's had quite a bit spent on it recently but couldn't say what and whether by them. Looks good cosmetically from what I remember. Google CNBR sports cars for the seperate website.

Looks a very nice car indeed. Funny thing is... Knowing what I paid for mine just under 2years ago at £24,000 that's way too much. I totally think cerbs are worth that money but as I paid so much less for a car even more sorted I think it's pricey. I'm such a silly boy! Whoever does get it will have done well.
I drove the car a few weeks ago and very nearly bought it, but felt there were too many niggling issues for a keeper car for the money.
It drove very nicely, though the clutch action was difficult to balance.
It wasn't in the cosmetic condition I expected for the money.
Loved the red and grey leather, but the mulberry red dials are an acquired taste and more "aah" than "wow".
I'm sure it'll find an owner that'll love it, but it wasn't for me.
For the record I had an S6 Cerbera (X52 VAY) back in 2004/5.
Phil.

Well I've taken the plunge & am now the new owner of T400 CER
There's a couple of very minor cosmetic things that need sorting but personally for an 11 year old car I think she's in excellent condition & I got her for a price I was happy with.
I also found she drove really well & haven't had any issues with clutch balance although I'm quite a bit taller than the previous owner so I may need to adjust the pedals a bit to suit me.
I loved the exterior colour the moment I saw the advert & to me the grey & mulberry interior just sets it off & I even like the matching mulberry dials but then I did previously own a bright yellow Lotus Esprit with a green leather interior
I had a few lengthy phone conversations with the owner & he has answered all my questions & queries. Obviously time will tell with regards the engine work etc but Chris came across as a very approachable & honest bloke & he has offered me a decent warranty with the car.
I've driven her 110 miles home today & she's now taken pride of place in my garage in the gap left by my Esprit.
