Afternoon everyone!

With our next SWW Meet on Wednesday 19th August, I'd like to announce our Next Show, which is the penultimate show of the season. (That's come around fast!)

We shall be returning to Lavenham Rare Breeds on Bank Holiday Monday 31st Augustbounce

It has been a mainstay of the PHEA Calendar for a number of years and attracts all manner of rare, classic and modern machinery.
In essence it is a large car show, but there is the added attraction of a fayre and of course the lovely village in which it is hosted!
Further Details of the show can be found on their WEBSITE HERE

I have secured us 14 spaces. These are physical passes which I will hand out at the Meeting Point.

On that note, the Meeting Point will be the Church road layby at Alpheton - MAP LINK HERE.
Can we please meet at 9:30am for a 9:45am departure and convoy in together

Entry to the show is FREE, although a £5 voluntary donation, payable on gate, would be accepted to help cover admin costs smile

Let's get together our best, rarest, cleanest, most sporty and exotic machinery for our penultimate show in the PHEA Calendar 2015!
With limited space, be quick to avoid disappointment thumbup

All you have to do is add your name to list on this thread.

If you prefer, you can email/message me to let me know you'd like to join us.
Alternatively, you could also sign up to the Event on our Facebook Page HERE

We may pop down and come in for a look around as peasants as we have nothing exotic to show off.
The Pulsar will be out again next year hopefully so watch out Darren!

Morning Darren,

Don’t suppose you know when the show opens to members of the public - I will be heading over for a wander around and there isn’t much of an indication on the Lavenham website - last year was 12-5, is the same likely this year?

Cheers

I always believed the show began at 11am. Not sure why, but that's what I've always thought.
I am sorry to say I do not know with absolute certainty, but if it was 12-5 last year, I guess it would be the same this year.

Having said that, I can't see them turning away public who are a little early smile

Sorry I can't be of too much help!

If the show starts at 12 or even 11, 09:30 seems awfully early to meet especially when I have a 2 hour drive just to get there.

Are you planning on haring around the bumpy, narrow, back country lanes of Suffolk before arrival? In which case I would probably meet you at the show if that's ok.

Hi Zed,

As a show exhibitor, we have to be in by 10am. 9:30 meet, 9:45 departure and a usual gentle Roadshow convoy to the venue, allowing around 15 minutes smile

Hi All.

I apologise if I'm poking my nose in but as this is my "local " show I entered this as an independent back in March.

The letter I have asks for owners to "please be at the ground between 9.30 and 11.30 to ensure arrival before the carnival procession."

Those invited to be in the procession should be at the market square at 11.00 My mate has a Jeep so fits in with the 40's theme and
I believe the procession plans to arrive at the show ground before 12 noon, so he said.

Weather permitting I intend to arrive 10.45 - 11 ish and as I have an open top I'm just praying for a dry afternoon.

I'll wander along for a chat later.
