They want 10% of the find, that'll be 30 tonnes of gold, which works out at about a billion US dollars worth smile

I am sure they have...

Buried next to Dave from the Nazi Bunker thread, and those missing Spitfires that were buried in the Far East(from memory).

So where does one hide a train that's apparently 150 metres long?

I think this could actually be true - some of the detail just rings right, it would have been easy to run a train into a disused or secret tunnel and blow the entrance, or a cutting - and bury it, or even lay temporary tracks to a pit or natural hollow or disused mine, and bury it.

This loot has got to turn up sooner or later, it makes sense that a lot of it is in one dump, and clearly the mother-load has never been found, not even fragments of things like the amber room have ever turned up - which they certainly would have otherwise.

Nah, that was going to be my first guess but thought you need the bits to see no train either end so thinking and bit for the fill in.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this is real!

Do we reckon they'll be allowed to keep 10% or will there be some weird thing that as its Nazi stolen gold the money belongs to those it was stolen from!?

Confirmed! But not safe to go in for a closer look yet due to possibility of booby traps.

"Arkadiusz Golebiewski, a press officer for the local government, confirmed that a military train had been discovered in Walbrzych, which is near Poland's border with the Czech Republic."

They won't have found a train with a load of gold on it. Move on, nothing to see here.

Looks like confirmed they found a train.

But no ones got a clue what's on it.
