Seems pretty fair. I'd likely have ended up in a fight so well done for not loosing your st.

This lot sound extreme, and any bunch of them who refuse to ride single file to let you get past is annoying. The 3 abreast riding has made everyone stop getting past, clearly we all know they're there as we've now been trailing behind their wiggling lycra-clad arses for a good 5 minutes unable to get past. Do they have no awareness, do they like people watching their arses, or are they just selfish inconsiderate tts who claim the road as theirs, because it really can't inconvenience them too much to move over and let everyone behind them through. And surely it's safer for them too rather than giving motorists less room to try and squeeze past.

Cyclists seem to rely a lot on everyone else's tolerance and goodwill whilst doing things that annoy them or are just outright dangerous, and not riding defensively. I don't get it, they're so much more vulnerable without leather / Kevlar / armour, but then they're often skipping red lights, weaving about on the wrong side of the road etc etc.

Slightly unrelated to the main OP but I saw an opportunity to rant about inconsiderate cyclists (not the old dears with shopping baskets on the front who are pretty sensible), and now I feel much better.

Cyclists (in London), do seemingly appear to be a disproportionately ignorant (of the law) bunch of road users at times.

Better behaviour from some would calm down both sides, but this 'mass ride' and some holding up buses is just crap.

I think you were very restrained! I detest them - I've seen them a few times now, and they are always the same.

Shame they banned Stun guns. Would love to see a few of them cycle harder and faster with 50k volts up their ass.

Not all but many are right s. I watched at the lights this morning while a lycra clad went through red lights and almost rode into a family crossing the road

The bellends were at it in Northampton too last night - I notice their facebook page is full of them whinging about people parking on the pavement, yet they seem to conveniently forget about the fact that they block all other road users and frequently ignore red lights (I know this because I winged one of them last year when I went through my lights on green and he refused to stop). Utter pains in the arse.

No difference to the bell ends on sports bikes I see flying round the Cotswolds every sunny weekend. I would not expect to be judged on the basis of either of them.

Normal cyclists and motorcyclists should really try and work together. We all want the same thing, a little space on the road and to be seen.

Yep, when will you tits stop killing yourselves on our B roads, you're not pro's, so ditch the team issue kit and bikes and give it a rest, 1000cc you may have but talent you don't.

See how ridiculous these posts are when reversed?

Wow. Those cyclists are the c***iest road users in the road. I say bring them to Norfolk and watch what happens. People up here do not take kindly to softie tarts holding them up to prove a point.

Well done OP for not losing your rag and ttting one of them. The amount of craftily edited gopro footage would result in you looking like a modern day Hitler.

Er, but you didn't post the reverse of the OP, did you?

Militant cyclist logic at work I presume....

He mentions on his thread that he will be glad of anyone that ends up killed on a bike. Pretty poor show to be honest.

I'm not militant anything, I've got a car, a bike, and have had a motorbike in the past also, I don't base all motorbikers on the tits that bomb it down the A339 and frequently kill themselves, the same as these constant threads about cyclists doing this that and the other shouldn't be about ALL cyclists, oddly its only Britain that has this pathetic attitude in europe towards people on bikes.

Just be thankful your bike wasn't pushed over. If you're dumb enough to fk with CM you deserve everything you get. I've seen cars attacked, bicycles crushed and fist fights at other CMs.

Note: CM = Critical Mass, a slow procession of bicycles on the last Friday of the month, starts at about 6 under Waterloo Bridge on the South Bank. Part of London life for years, get used to it.

Like wkers, they are part of life, just need to recognise a wker when you see one and deal with them how you see fit. Never get used to them, they are still just wkers.
