F80 Comp Pack

My brother is close to ordering an F80. He was speaking with a friend of his who works for a company that does some IT development work for BMW. He says that the Competition Package for the F80/82 will be available to order "within weeks" and includes power increase, new wheels, revised suspension settings and engine map.

Anyone know anything more about this - my brother is going to hold off ordering until details are available. Interested to know if anyone has any details on price.

I've heard no mention of such a car & let's be honest, if its order book is opening in a few weeks then likely it would have been all over the press.

Have a look here http://www.bmwblog.com/2015/03/04/2016-bmw-m3-face... they seem to think the M3 will be offered with the competition package... On the other hand your brother could get a really good deal on a pre LCI M3... Specced with the carbon brakes and all that jazz. Just a thought.

It's been talked about ever since the f80 launch even some spy shots out there now.
