Bit of a strange one here... a colleague of mine is rather short, and has difficulty reaching a lot of switches high up or over counters. She usually resorts to using a ruler, which is too bendy and slippery normally.

Anyway, as a joke I was going to buy/find/make a pointer for her in cartoon style - imagine a white-gloved mickey mouse type hand, pointing with an outstretched index finger, mounted on a long pole.
Sadly, despite much googling, comedy pointers don't seem to exist and only boring plain wooden poles or similar are available.

I'm a bit stumped... has anyone got any ideas? I was thinking of somehow managing to 3d-print a pointing hand?

Whatever you get her, make sure it has no sharp edges

So just to clarify.

You've come on here asking where to get a rubber hand for a "friend"?

You should definitely take 'comedy pointers' into Dragons' Den, there's a viable business there.

I don't think it would be a business I'd invest in as you couldn't protect the idea but I'd certainly buy some. So much more interesting than a laser pointer.

Track these two down, they might have something they can suggest that would help...
