Hi all I have just removed my rear spoiler to have it painted back to silver. I noticed along the front edge of the centre section it looks like what used to be a rubber or foam strip where it sits on the boot lid. Does anyone know what it should be as mine has perished so needs replacing before refitting the spoiler
Cheers
Denis

It could have had a rubber gasket between them. You know it's not going to be cheap, and may even be no longer available, so when I get something like this, I use double sided foam tape - like this

Thanks Araf
All the other rubber gaskets I can make as they are perished as well so may as well replace them, it was just a little hard to determine what the one on the centre piece was made off as it is to far gone but that tape should work fine. thumbup

Recently removed the spoiler from my VXR and it was definitely the tape Araf has suggested, used that tape to replace, and worked a treat thumbup
