In a weird way, I kinda like this. Needs a bit of work though - regretting hurriedly buying that 3.0 Legacy now.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUPER-RARE-HOLDEN-CREWMA...

All the room needed for the family - even the wife would be happy (ok, debatable), chuck in some new seats etc.

With it being a pickup, it could well have reduced speed limits on UK roads if it's classed as a commercial vehicle.

As in speed limiter? Sure the 'Fish could sort that. Monaro would still be the weekend car, this would just be the daily.

That bonnet's goosed, and you won't get another one, so you'll have to cut out the rust.

It's a lot for a damaged repairable - and probably the least liked Holden there is.

yes with the added bonus that the legacy makes the monaro seem less thirsty smile

No, as in speeds before you get a ticket.

I think the monaro may be marginally more economic on a run...not helped by the STi gearbox and general boxer lack of low-end... eek

On a run to Cornwall/Wales, got 30 ish, general daily its more like 26/27 eek

Monaro seems to work out around 19, but then I drive it so rarely, i'm normally having a bit of fun driving

Probably enough Jap crap chat, but mine barely brakes 20mpg...but the monaro is probably closer to 13 than 19 too...I must have heavy feet hehe

I know of another Crewman ute for sale but in black. I found out about it yesterday but haven't set eyes on it yet if anyone is interested.

Thanks for saying it's the least liked Holden. Now I'm desperate to own it banghead

Actually, I really do quite like these. Somebody buy something off me, so I can get it.

PS if I told you where to get a bonnet, bumper, wings and lights would you buy it for me?

not far from me if anyone wants someone to take a closer look, does look like a fair bit of work needed to tidy it up. I reckon its a 5-6k vehicle in that state though as thats what I was offered a similar state monaro vxr for.

'Not the best' is being very polite about the rear seats. They are not good for anything except for being a parcel shelf, or if yo happen to be driving amputees around. Legroom - 0.

They don't handle anything like the Maloo or Monaro as they are built on a long wheel base chassis.
