Just a "for what its worth" really, someone may be interested.

I'm on the lookout for a car for my dad, and this appeared when I was doing a search. Way out of my league, but Manheim auctions in Leeds have a metallic grey V10 RS6 Avant (2010/59) coming up in the near future.

You will need to log in with a free account to see the full condition report: No MOT, 3 previous keepers, only 1 listed service, 1 key, no spare and no puncture kit - just the space where they used to be. So goodness knows what is going on there!

The RS6 doesnt come with a spare tyre so nothing strange there.
As for only one service, if its on long life intervals, then at 23k miles thats not completely unbelivable. Prob had the service around 16-18k and needs another I would imagine.

Looks ok overall, but its not screaming top spec looking a the pics, i.e. no keyless go, no sunroof etc.. but (although hard to tell for sure from the poor res pics) it may be 3g MMI which would be a good selling point. Could be a decent bargin for the right buyer

From a distance it almost looks like mine, then when you read the PDF and get more info it looks pretty poor to me -

2 Cheap Korean tyres and 2 Goodyears of different depths on different axles (not good for the quattro system), badly curbed alloys, rippled panels, missing panels, 10cm scratch & damaged panels all over, evidence of a respray, no MOT, massively over due a service (the only one was done 4 1/2 years ago) etc etc.

Unless you can get this for <£25k (or more like £20k) I probably wouldn't bother. Yes the low mileage is attractive but the car looks un-cared for, almost abused considering the number of owners and years of no maintenance, all of which doesn't bode well for the future well being of the car mechanically. Plus it'll take more than a good few grand to put right all those issues to start with.

A good condition car with that mileage would be around £32k-£35k.

PS It's a 2G MMi, the 3G was the Saloons and late 2010-2011 plate Avants
