Lunar Roadstar 800 motorhome. Not very GW Revival: I'd rather be in something more characterful, but I've got to sleep somewhere comfy when I'm 300 miles from home...

I'd love to take a classic to the revival, however having seen so many people not make the revival as their classic breakdowns on the way I'll stick to a modern machine.

I want to take the Healey, but it will depend on the weather as we are camping and I don't fancy driving it around in a muddy field as it has virtually no clearance at the best of times (and it nearly does rain let alone mud!!) so it might be a Series 2 Land Rover instead if it is wet in the run up to it and over the weekend.

Whimp! People love to see the classics in the car parks - that's half the fun.

I need to buy one first then. I love seeing them to, but I'd want to leave the breaking down to a breakfast club.

It's not the breaking down I worry about in a classic, it's being stopped at midnight in fifties attire having enjoyed a beverage during the day and having headlamps that illuminate the square root of nothing on country lanes, so sensible 4x4 for us!

We will be travelling to Goodwood in our 1968 Ford Cortina 1600e. I really enjoy it as you get closer and eclectic convoys of classic cars form and disband.

Indeed and those in their 4x4s can say there's so many classics in the car park, you could spend a hour or more just looking at them wink

Indeed, we spent quite a bit of time looking around the car park and also had a lot of very interesting chats about people's cars and such like.

LR Discovery on Friday (wrong I know but don't fancy the M25 in a classic on Friday evening) and then the Mk2 Jaguar for Saturday and Sunday.
