I'm developing a lust for these cars and I'm finding it surprising and unusual. They are beginning to look really rather attractive to me and I don't know what to do about it.
Has anyone here got one? Are they as nice as I imagine them to be or do they have lots of 'issues'?
They look lovely!
That's quite a departure from your GT3 - I imagine it would feel completely different. Not driven one , but if anything like a 991 C2S then they will be worlds apart from a tactility and engagement PoV - Not that a 991 C2S is a bad car , it's just very modern and sanitised compared to the 3 - IMHO they are very Grand Tourer like rather than GT (3) like - brilliant as a completely useable , practical daily that's more fun than most . I would describe them as a great but "normal" car if that makes sense . Try one and see what you think Has anyone here got one? GtS is a better car and cheaper.
2 people I know have 50th , very nice cars, but no power pack and over valued
Saying that just parted ex one and got £94 trade bid on it !
So holding value, I turned it down at £94k thought it was too expensive,
But it's up at a dealer at £108k !
Shame as I was tempted while waiting for the gt4.
GTS has to be the much better buy IMO

I think it's quite pretty, with some nice design touches, but the various 911 'anniversary' cars over the years have never been more than that.
All the 991s I've driven have been mighty impressive sporting GTs. C4S was particularly impressive. I know everyone raves about PDK, but IMO it's a shame you can't buy a 991 with a really good manual gearbox.

I couldn't agree less with some of the above . I had one for several months and seriously regret selling it . Flat black , fully loaded , power kit , burmester etc etc . Was a brilliant do it all car . Sporty , touring , held its own on track ( no way was it not a sports car and purely a grand tourer . I stick everything on track at least once and it outdid itself ) it was an astounding car that was special enough and different enough from the 2s to count . The Old school green light I g , houndstooth , extra leather made the I nterior was a very special place to be , I really miss it . Tried to buy it back but the guy wouldn't sell .
I've never seen a car with a spec nearly as good as mine . If I find one I'd buy it in a flash

key spec is PP as it was not standard and most cars were dealer ordered.I've never seen a car with a spec nearly as good as mine . If I find one I'd buy it in a flash

I thought the manual in the GTS was quite good, not sure about the manual in the Anniversary. All the 991s I've driven have been mighty impressive sporting GTs. C4S was particularly impressive.
