how do I find the right paint for my Renault 5?

Just done a daft thing and bought a very nice Renault 5 in silvery-grey, would like to touch the paintwork up here and there, what's the best way to find the paint code on one of these? Or would it make more sense just to pop into Halfords and get something close?

iirc, find the metal vin plate on the bulkhead, to the right of the plate is an oval, it should be the bottom number within that.

Its been many years since I've painted one, hence the iirc. lol

If you right click & 'view image' on the one in the link it gets a big easier to see! It's the TEB65 on that one, the relevant bit being the B65.
If you're struggling once you've got it, post it & I'll see what comes up on my system.

Thanks Paintman, having not found a code under the bonnet I'm afraid I'd already run out to Halfords before seeing your post and just bought an off the shelf silver grey 3-pen kit, thanks for the info though.

Phone your local main dealer (parts dept) with the reg or vin number and they'll give you the paint code

I think the 5's were the pre sticker era, heres a pic of the vin on the bulkhead area.
