Hi,

Noticed my left arm is noticeably bigger than me right even though I'm right handed and is my strongest. In the gym my bicep routines is hammer curls with the bar and bicep curl also using a bar.

What can I do the make my right arm catch up in size and definition.

Move away from barbell movements, or any exercise where both arms are lifting the weight.

Rather change out for using dumbbells, where each bicep will have to do exactly the same amount of work, and one can't 'subsidise' the work of the other!

I have noticed some improvement from abandoning the E Z bar for curls to doing alternate sets on an incline bench with barbells, just seems to be easier to hit the muscle hard.

if the difference is not vast there's probably not a lot you can do - I have half inch between arms and traced it all the way back to my chest muscle attaching slightly different at the sternum on the right side. Means my chest/shoulder/arm is slightly less on the right side.....not that you'd tell without looking properly and 99% of the population would never know they are out of line. But if you train and focus on it, you'd see it.

few people are in perfect symmetry.

Went to the gym today, did my exercises using dumbbells and must say I can feel the pain on both arms.
