I considered it but backed out last minute.

Only have one Mac so if it kills it I'm up a creek without a paddle.

Interested to know everyone opinions though.

I've been running it from 1st release, It was a nightmare out of the box, but Apple made that clear.

It's totally IPv6 centric, which is a good thing in many respects but it's check and fall back is very clumsy so I had to turn it off in the command line.

Silverlight just broke but has since been updated and seems to work OK, Sky Go is the only thing I've found that needs it.

Otherwise all good.

So far so good. I downloaded yesterday. We shall see how it goes. I guess the beta is close to the final version.

Would have given it a go but it is my only machine. Hope they have sorted the system font.

IOS9 on the iPad is great though, though something has just started to eat into battery life big time.

Well, running well. Had a mail saying GM version available, pretty painless so far.
Thought what the heck, pictures are backed up.

So an official release is now ready to be 'upgraded' on my Mac. Might wait a few days to see if it's 'stable'. Anyone else made the upgrade?

Yep, I did my laptop yesterday and I'm puttin it on my desktop today (different days as it's a 4-5 hour download for me) and it all seems to be fine. I'm a very causal user and it all seems to work aboslutely fine for me.

Had the same problem with my phone. Using around 10% per hour.
Reset all settings seems to have fixed it.

Beware of El Capitan if you use Office 2011 as its b0rked.

Got an 09 MBP here which has downloaded the update but doesn't seem to want to install it, just shows as "DOWNLOADED" but greyed out. Sounds like it's a lucky escape!

It appears to be limited to Outlook - so if you are using plain old vanilla Mail, you might be alright....

Thanks, have Office 2011 installed but I don't use Outlook. However I think I'll hold off upgrading for a while, make sure there are no other issues lurking! On past OS upgrades VMWare Fusion had to be upgraded as well, does anyone know if it's ok on El Capitan? I'm on v6.06.

Think I've answered my own question, VMware Fusion needs to be v8 to run on El Capitan. Upgrade from v6 is EUR 45.00! Robbing barst.....
