Been a long time coming but wanna get together on the first Saturday of October for a weeee meet in the evening?

Usual set up meet for a meal and a chat.

I'm afraid I'm not going to make this meet. In fact, I've decided to put my Monaro up for sale. Have agonised over the decision for ages but have to face the facts: I'm just not using the car now that I have two kids. I bought an old Jeep Cherokee a while back for family duties (2002, 3.7 V6, even worse fuel consumption than the Monaro) and now the Monaro hardly gets used. I thought maybe I could keep her as a garage queen but I don't like to see cars sitting unused - and the cars don't usually like it much either. I reckon now is the right time to sell as the VW diesel emissions scandal should lead to a bounce in the value of Monaros as everyone looks to trade in their TDi's for large capacity petrol V8s.

I'm out! Forgot about an evening wedding do on Saturday! Thought it was next week. Taking car to AAS on Thursday and collecting on Saturday morning.Was going to run up the A1 for the meet.Bugger.
