IOS 9 and POP acounts

If you download ISO 9 and have a POP account there's a good chance you'll lose your emails, I keep getting this message after only a few hours of receiving an email....
"This message has not been downloaded from the server."
There's big discussions on Apple Support Commuities forum about this, so if you don't want to lose emails don't download ISO 9.
