Had a somewhat serious 'off' on an exit ramp here in Northern CA/Bay Area/San Jose. Thankfully the car is strong and safe and though I'm bloodied I'd not broken.Nothing serious happened to me (thank you Richard) but the same is not exactly true for the car.
I seem to have misplaced the name/contact of the individual in the Bay Area (Los Gatos/Campbell) who is expert in servicing/repairing/customizing Ultima's. Can someone please provide his contact?

Are you referring to Chris Julian?

Sorry to hear about the off, as they say the car can be fixed....

I avoided one a couple years back through shear luck; it was this time of year, cooler morning and the tires had no temp in them.

You are thinking of Lawrence Farmer in Morgan Hill 408 483 9085. Glad to hear that you are O.K. Chris Julain and I use the same Composites guy here in So Cal the guy is a genius and not out of line on his prices. Contact me PM if you want his number. Lee

Yes it was Lawrence and I finally found his contact and we spoke at length yesterday. Sounds like he will be able to make it new again, though not without some work. It was an enjoyable and reassuring conversation.Quite a gentleman.
Woke up today with my body feeling a bit hammered and now realize I'll likely need a few stitches in my elbow (it hit something I guess) to get it closed. But overall, what a solid car. Again, thanks Richard. Oh and thanks for the responses as well.

I'd rather not ship the car (or the front clip) to So. Cal unless absolutely necessary. I'll speak with Lawrence about the GRP issues (there's a bunch of other work required besides the shell) and will take it from there. But thank you and I'll keep it in mind.

Sorry to hear about the bad fortune bud frown

Well at least you're fine and the car is recoverable.

Good luck getting it fixed!
