What size nut?

I need a new nyloc nut for the steering rack ball joint. Anyone what the thread is?

That should be a Cortina ball joint, same as an S series, so M10 fine thread (1.25 pitch rather than "standard" 1.5)

Thanks for the help but it was the wrong size. The OD of the thread is 11mm but I have been through various options but still can't figure out what it is. I have now managed to get the ball joint off which will help.

Measured it up and I think it's 7/16 UNF does that sound right?
