Not sure if this should be posted here... I had a little go at snorkelling today and loved it. I used a pair of borrowed body boarding flippers and they wasn't that great, especially diving down. Can anyone recommend any, ideally adjustable to wear over wetsuit boots?

Most dive shops have fins for snorkelling, cressi are a good make.

I suggest you pop down to one and have a look

You're talking about open - heel fins, which tend to be aimed more towards SCUBA than snorkelling.

I would advise getting something with a closed heel pocket that is a wee bit longer for snorkelling/freediving (maybe not as long as full on freediving or spearfishing fins but longer than the above) and you can wear with a 2 or 3mm neoprene sock or bare feet in the summer.

As said, Cressi are decent and serviceable. My snorkel 'holiday' fins are made my Gul and were cheap. I also have some Beuchat Mundial freediving fins that are simply incredible compared to normal fins but waaaaay long. But Mares, Cressi, Orca, Beuchat are all pretty serviceable brands without breaking the bank.
