How do.

I've not been driving for too long, a year and a half (there or there abouts) but I've recently (3 months) got a new car and have become obsessed with cleaning my car (sure a lot of new drivers do this?).

Anyway, I've tried a few brands so far; shop's own brand, TurtleWax, Meguiars, Farecla, Autoglym. My favourite thus far is Autoglym, especially the Super Resin Polish.Howver, I've found any 'paint restorer' that supposedly gets rid of swirl marks, scuffs, etc (this kind of thing niggles at me) just leaves a matte effect that takes ages to get out with polish so probably not worth it. Maybe Farecla was decent on specific areas but not a full car. And surprisingly always found that for a quick wash, Wilko's wash and wax was always good.

I fortunately found Autoglym on 3 for 2 in Halfords recently which saved me stupidly forking out a fair wad of cash on a 'professional' valet.

Anyway, what does everyone else use for a decent once over of their car? Any surprise contenders?

My usual routine is a shampoo wax every 2-3 weeks, polish every 4-6 weeks and hopefully clay bar every 3 months or so. My car is black, which is a piss take.

I use autoglym super resin polish with poorboys black hole and natty wax easy to use and gives the best results for me. I also claybar the car once a year or so.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Best budget detailing products? Cheap car shampoo and the 2BM. Best swirl remover? I get good results with Bilt Hamber Autobalm, which is a filler sealant.

Autoglym is very hard to beat, ive been using it for years and even though i have tried other products i always go back to it. The polish is good but has very little cutting action, it contains fillers which tend to mask swirls.
The extra gloss protection or the hd wax is good to finish over the top of it though.
Ive recently bought a tub of the bilt hamber auto balm and their shampoo myself to try as it gets very good reviews.
