Seems like it's just been shut down so as not to disturb "the party conference" ?
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greate... I don't know the rights or wrongs of it but it seems a different way to protest similar to the cyclists cause which is to cause as much nuisance and disruption on a 'peaceful' way to get noticed scratchchin

I managed to miss this when I walked to the NQ from the village last night - says a lot about either my state or that scale of their soundsystem!

Well, it's only right. They were treated no better at the Labour Party Conference.

That photo is opposite my car park which is underneath the confence centre. I think parking tomorrow is going to be quite a rigmarole! Would take the bike as the traffic is going to be bad, but I cant see them letting me ride in even though I have a contract with NCP...

Load of nobheads bussed in from around the country (coaches all up Chester Road) to tell the Tories they aren't wanted in Manchester.
They think we want this lot littering the streets and pissing down side streets. We have enough of that already thanks, please fk off.

According to the Lefties on my Facebook feed sharing that picture ^ "that is how the crises in the Ukraine started..."

Of course when Labour held their conference at the Sage in Gateshead in 2005 there were sniper's all over the place on the roof tops on the Quayside (including where I work). But never mind that, it's those nasty Tories init?

I wondered what was going on last night.

It looked like kind of some free rave for the homeless going by the "protesters".
