What's a "gas monkey" style garage?

There's plenty of drifter and jap garages that do engine swaps and odd stuff, I'm sure that would be the kind of thing rather than a fixing/repair place.

I was going to ask the same, I've never heard the term before.

A search for "Essex motorsport preparation" should yield some results.

Get yourself over to Rod n Sods and ask the same question. There are plenty of hotrod style shops around the UK that can offer this.

Ed China of Wheeler Dealers fame has an outfit called Grease Junkie which might be worth talking to. They don't list modifications amongst their services but you never know, it might be worth asking. Seems they are based at Bracknell.

You want your car on TV?

Really what the actual garage does isn't THAT impressive.

Look up "Project Binky" on YouTube, it features a Mini being rebuilt with a GT4 engine, it's a huge project and clearly a showcase for their talents. Their fabrication and welding skills are ace.
