I currently use Stand21 Daytona II... They are starting to be knackered. Stupidly comfortable but a tad on the expensive side.
What is the current feel on driving shoes? Is it worth to brace myself and buy new Stand21's? Or are there more cost conscious and comfortable options?
Do you mean for track work thereby needing flame retardant materials or would non-flame retardant suffice. If the latter, I normally drive our Caterham in a pair of Puma Speedcats or my Alpine Stars kart boots which I already had for karting.
+1 for converse all-stars - the puma's work well too but more often than not I'm in converse around the house if I decide to go for a random drive.....speaking of....its a clear sunny day here..hmm
