Just bought a 1997 P38 from the auctions for 300 quid.
Because the suspension was on its bump stops.

After a couple of hours of fiddling I find the glade air freshener that had got stuck under the passenger seat and unseated the delay relay when someone moved the seat.
Plugged it in, car is spot on perfect.

It was in the auction as it had been part ex'd because of an "Untraceable fault" smile

Must be a Chinese saying that covers your gamble. Well done. Is it a V8? I just loved the throbbing V8 noise on mine.

To me they still look good, that slightly rounded silhouette has aged them less than the LR322 has suddenly become.

Go on, post a pic....

That looks cracking, I doubt I'll ever part with my Discovery 2 but I can certainly see a P38 joining it one day.

I may be feeling a tad smug at the moment I admit.

Judging by your fixing of the problem you can hazard that knowing nothing has put you ahead of at least one Range Rover specialist. wink

Well that's why it was cheap -got an upside down interior!!

loved my p38-ultra reliable and brilliant squirming about muddy fields in the shooting season.

Probably enjoyed it more than my 08 car if i am honest.

Hope it treats you well

I wasn't keen on the exterior of the P38 when it was released, now I prefer it to the 1405.
3censored quid? irked
