Just showing off really (sorry), but easily my most satisfying/exciting recent purchase.

Picked this GD-200 up for £5 in the local house clearance / junk / second hand shop:

In completely 'as new' condition with the exception of the missing 'thingy'.

Couldn't be arsed to haggle; chuffed to bits. I've been wanting to add a G-shock to my collection, too!

(thingy = loop that you push the strap through once fastened, to hold both ends together. What's that called? Have solved by purloining one of my daughter's hair bands.)

I got my SAS mate to jump a Delta Force squad and steal a keeper off one of their G-shocks. yes

I can see the 'keeper' on your watch it is present, there is something else not present though were the strap meets the jaws of the watch case.
Eh? Me no understand.

The 'keeper' in the picture is one of my daughter's hairbands, as mentioned.

What you mean by something else missing - all appears correct to me? Or are you just trying to piss on my bonfire? ;-)

It does look like that. Can't see any difference; what am I missing?

Oh, you! tongue out

It's been sat in a mega dusty second hand shop. It's unmarked, which I thought was more to the point.

(It is also now clean)

My bonfire is well and truly pissed on.... hehe

I think he means the bit above the G-Shock writing at the top. It looks like that bit is broken but it's not - it's just a trick of the light in the photo I think.

Good find OP!

Nice buy OP, looks the same as mine which I've owned since new. Anybody got a manual for them they could send me? Buggered if I can turn the alarm off & it beeps on the hour, every hour too!

I have one of these in white, buried away in a draw somewhere from memory. Is it a simple battery change to get it going again I could trust to anyone with half an idea on the high street?

Thanks, turns out mine is slightly different to yours but manual found, Alarm finally off!

Also need a strap keeper, also using Daughters hairclip! Nice to have it back after several years in the wild smile
