This must be money out of your own pocket and not for mileage that you can claim back.

i.e.

The fuel cost for the miles you personally fund per month.

<50 for me personally; 50-100 for the family's combined transport.

Between £350-400; about £50 every 4 working days for the commuter box, and then about £40-45 a week through the weekend car, similar prices for the two but a massive mileage difference!

Normally £100 but depends on the fuel level of the Mazda as it doesn't always get used.

A tank can easily last 3 months - not bad for a petrol 3.2L V6. One of the benefits of working from home.

It's about £82 a month *but* as I get mileage payments (at company car rates) and picked a petrol >2l which does better than 24mpg it actually works out as £54 a month.

Tyres/servicing/mot/purchase etc all come out of the car allowance so my total yearly cost for absolutely everything is £650 (and that ignores the tax relief which knocks another £250 or so off). biggrin

Annualised out about £150 in two cars. About 5000 mile in each but one gets 25mpg and the other 50mpg

Roughly a tank a week each plus a tank or two a month for the TVR maybe.

Over £300. Girlfriend recently moved to Fort William (140 miles away) so a couple of trips a month there can see that closer to £400 if I've been out for a decent blast too.

I work that out to require an average mpg of almost 72. Doesn't sound overly PH. What sort of car is it that you can average that with? Assume you must never put your foot down either.

Probably about £150, it gets filled up every 2.5-3 weeks £73 or so a time.

I work from home one day a week, so commute is 55 miles 4 days a week. Plus shopping etc. on the weekend and the odd day I'd say it does 260 miles per week average, 49.5mpg according to trip so a 740 mi range. 57MPG is the best I've done when trying, so I could probably improve that slightly although on paper would only extend filling by a few days.

Sounds alright to me.

That's between 2,500 ~ 3,000 miles per month in the household btw. All vehicles average 20something mpg.

Roughly £150 month over 2 cars averaged out from a year.

Mine does around 5k at 20 mpg, hers does 10k at 45 mpg.

Not bad really, my short commute helps (16 mile round trip) and the wife works 3 days (25 mile round trip)

I do approximately 600 miles per month which is 2 fillups. I get about 25mpg and at the minute, that's costing me anywhere between £58 and £65 depedning on where I go. Last months spend was £123.50
