Daily Mail and their sensationalism! Repairs are not proportional to the value of the car. Even though panels will have to be refabricated I can't see how it will cost "hundreds of thousands" to repair. Shame to see but on the other hand good to see it being used for what it is intended for. Owner has bigger balls than me...

It was very nearly avoided, all cars span with no contact. Then as we all breathed a sigh of relief, the XK hit the back and they all concertinaed....
Just moments after the photos, the race leader in a DB3S had to take to the grass (like the AC Ace-Bristol in the photo) at speed to avoid the mess. The whole thing could have been much worse and although sad to see mechanical injury, there was no human harm! These boys know the consequence of playing in the big boys playground and hats off to them, it's an amazing sight to see them wheel to wheel while drifting millions of pounds!

The beauty of these multi million pound cars is that all the value is in the chassis number. Even a complete rebuild is 'only' a fraction of the value.
