Does anyone know where I can hire a car for about 6-8 weeks without paying top rates? It is for a friend who is currently renting a B class Merc via Hertz and it is costing her a fortune. Must be some good value deals out there somewhere... Needs it for about the next 6-8 weeks only.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

G-force in Aldershot

Get a little run about for £100-£120 a week.

No great shakes but cheap as chips!

Why not consider buying a shed & sell it after. Get your money back so it only costs you fuel & a bit of road tax.

Thanks for the replies. Will try G force.

Understand about buying a shed, if it was me I would do that but she can't (US national), until various paperwork is sorted through work and home address in place she cannot buy. Should only be for a few weeks.

I've always found Kendall cars good value - I had a couple of longer term cars from them.

Affordable rentals in Bisley are good, only hired vans before but the cars seem good value,
